My physiotherapist has been seeing a whole lot more of me than my friends here on Steemit have! To cut a long story short, I literally went flying through the air in a carpark; yep nearly fell VERY hard; I honestly think I had a guardian angel who caught me that day! I now am on the mend but still find it painful sitting down at my computer so have been having hectic blogging withdrawal symptoms as well! Standing and walking is no problem so I can still cook and bake, thank goodness! I am an incorrigible sweet tooth so when I saw all those wonderful Dates that our hostess plantstoplanks showed off I went out and bought Dates, but nothing as good as hers! Remember when we were given sweet treats as a child when we were sick? Before we get to making these delights, I would like to share with all my friends a very clever and thought-provoking video simply called Man by the London based illustrator and animator Steve Cutts, who satirises the excesses of modern society through his amazing artwork. Read more about his work HERE. Credit: Steve Cutts. We have the most delicious dried Mango in Montagu, our little dried fruit and nuts franchise; needless to say this is one of my favourite stores!

How about substituting the kiwis with blueberries.

The “Month-Day-Year” format may be useful when rendering dates for a US audience but it makes little sense for querying. This stores the same data as before but the sort order happens to be in date order, because years are longer than months and months are longer than days. This reads as “fetch documents whose ‘effectiveDateOfAction’ field is greater than or equal to 1st October ‘.

I recently hosted a Moroccan themed baby shower and created this spiced yogurt to accompany fruit skewers. When choosing mangos, cup one in the palm of your hand and give it a gentle squeeze. If the fruit does not yield to gentle pressure, allow it to sit on the counter for a few days until ripe. Note that the red blush color on some varieties is not an indicator of ripeness. For everyday enjoyment and to reduce saturated fat and calories, I choose nonfat or lowfat yogurt.
Yogurt provides a good pop of protein and mangos are a good source of fiber, aiding in making you feel fuller longer. I developed this recipe for the National Mango Board. Combine yogurt, honey, vanilla and spices and stir well. Layer half of mangos into the bottoms of two tall, slender glasses or in shallow bowls. Dollop with yogurt and top with remaining mangos. Sprinkle with pistachios and dates. Nutrition Facts per serving : calories, 4 g total fat.

Once you have determined that the climate and soil is suitable and selected varieties, you must also decide on how to propagate the planting material. The two basic propagation options for mangoes are by seed or grafting. The best propagation method will depend on the cultivars required and the growing conditions. Mango seeds are either mono-embryonic single embryo or poly-embryonic multiple embryos depending on the variety.
Only poly-embryonic seeds produce true-to-type clones of the parent. Most cultivars of mango do not produce seedlings true-to-type. Therefore, grafting is often necessary to overcome this problem. Grafting also means that trees produce uniform yield, fruit size and quality. Propagation by seed is only recommended for poly-embryonic mango varieties such as Kensington Pride.
Poly-embryonic seeds produce a number of shoots, one of which originates from fertilisation. The fertilised seedling is often weak and stunted and should be discarded. The other seedlings are clones of the mother tree.

Having been a serial entrepreneur with a background in computer engineering being a nerd helped as well , Rahul set out to build his own site and develop a model around customer experience with a focus on dating and meeting people. And knowing it takes an experienced team to build a successful company, he was joined by our three other founders, Paras Dharamshi, Anita Dharamshi and I, who all have strong business and marketing backgrounds in the Indian space.
Why did your team think Indian communities needed their own online dating site? At the time , the Indian online dating market was more or less non-existent. The market was mostly focused around matrimonial sites that catered towards connecting “brides” and “grooms” from India and North America.

The focus of our site is to create more of a community feel, and less of a database experience. We were looking for something new-age and we also knew that we wanted to use the word ‘Mango. The traffic has mostly been through word of mouth and apparently the word is giving the speedometer a challenge. TwoMangoes has secured an angel round of funding from Andy Jasuja, the co-founder of Sigma Systems, to launch and iterate the product.
The funding raised to date has been primarily used towards development, social media, and marketing activities. Further, we have weekly videos to engage the online audience looking for content on dating, such as what to wear on a first date, and a strong offline presence at various events throughout the world. As they say, stay tuned as the best is yet to come! The matrimonial and online dating space is currently going through a complete makeover.

The question is, what is the minimum number of mangos you must pick to satisfy these conditions and have at least one mango left when you exit the seventh gate? When I set up the problem I had a seven-tiered complex fraction equal to one, and my final answer was negative two. Where did I go wrong? I like your site very much. Let’s say you leave the tree with two mangoes. You get to the innermost guard. You give him half the mangoes – which is to say, one mango – and he gives one back to you.

An overview of preharvest factors influencing mango fruit growth, quality and postharvest behaviour. Mango, a tropical fruit of great economic importance, is generally harvested green and then commercialised after a period of storage. Unfortunately, the final quality of mango batches is highly heterogeneous, in fruit size as well as in gustatory quality and postharvest behaviour.
A large amount of knowledge has been gathered on the effects of the maturity stage at harvest and postharvest conditions on the final quality of mango. Considerably less attention has been paid to the influence of environmental factors on mango growth, quality traits, and postharvest behaviour. In this paper, we provide a review of studies on mango showing how environmental factors influence the accumulation of water, structural and non-structural dry matter in the fruit during its development.
These changes are discussed with respect to the evolution of quality attributes on the tree and after harvest. The preharvest factors presented here are light, temperature, carbon and water availabilities, which can be controlled by various cultural practices such as tree pruning, fruit thinning and irrigation management. We also discuss recent advances in modelling mango function on the tree according to environmental conditions that, combined with experimental studies, can improve our understanding of how these preharvest conditions affect mango growth and quality.
